1. Your agreement
By using localmounting.online, submitting a contact form, requesting a quote, or accepting our service, you agree to the terms below. Local Mounting Co. ("we," "us," "our") reserves the right to modify these terms; the version live on this page at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking.
2. The service we provide
We perform residential and small-business television wall-mounting, cable concealment, soundbar mounting, and related light-installation work — described in detail on our Services page. We don't sell televisions, we don't install electrical wiring or audio-visual gear beyond the mounting and cabling described in the catalogue, and we don't provide design or interior consultation services.
3. Quotes & pricing
When you describe a job, we provide a flat-price quote based on the information you share — typically including the wall type, TV size and model, room, and any extras requested. Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date sent unless explicitly extended in writing.
The quoted price applies if the on-site conditions match what you described. If our crew arrives and finds materially different conditions (a wall material you didn't know about, a stud layout that requires extra hardware, an inaccessible cable path), they will stop, explain, and offer an updated quote before continuing. You are free to decline at that point; if you do, no charge applies.
4. Booking & arrival
Once you accept a quote, we book a 90-minute arrival window. We text you 30 minutes before arrival. If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice — we'll rebook into the next open slot with no fee.
If you're not home when we arrive within the booked window, we'll wait up to 15 minutes, then leave. We'll happily rebook, but a missed-appointment fee of $35 may apply at our discretion if it becomes a pattern.
5. Your responsibilities
To make sure the job goes smoothly, we ask that you:
- Give us accurate information about the wall, TV, and room when requesting a quote.
- Provide reasonable access to the install location (cleared of fragile items, with adults present if required).
- Confirm the screen placement on site, before drilling — we will not adjust mounted brackets after the fact without re-quoting.
- Make payment as agreed — typically on completion of the job, by card or transfer.
6. Workmanship guarantee
We stand behind our work with a 12-month workmanship guarantee. If anything we installed — bracket, anchors, cable routing, patch work — loosens, fails, or visibly deteriorates within 12 months of installation under normal residential use, we'll return and fix it at no charge.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by:
- Subsequent furniture moves or third-party adjustments to the mount.
- Water leaks, structural changes, or building movement.
- Hardware you supplied that turns out to be defective.
- Acts of nature, accidents, or deliberate force applied to the mount or TV.
The workmanship guarantee is separate from any manufacturer warranty on hardware (mounts, brackets, etc.) you provided or we supplied.
7. Limitation of liability
We take reasonable care on every job and carry general liability insurance for property damage. That said, we are not liable for:
- Damage to wall surfaces beyond reasonable patch-and-spackle finish (paint matching is not included).
- Pre-existing wall, structural, or electrical defects revealed during installation.
- Loss of use, data loss from disconnected devices, or other indirect consequential losses.
- Damage that arises from inaccurate information you provided when scoping the job.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a single job is capped at the amount you paid for that job.
8. Payment
Payment is due on completion unless other terms have been agreed in writing. We accept major credit and debit cards (processed via our third-party provider), bank transfer, and cash. A receipt is sent by email within 24 hours of payment.
Late payments more than 14 days overdue may incur a small administrative fee, and unpaid balances may be referred to collections.
9. Use of this website
You agree to use this website for personal, lawful purposes — researching our services, contacting us, reviewing your booking. You agree not to:
- Attempt to interfere with the site's operation, scrape it at unreasonable rates, or probe it for vulnerabilities.
- Submit false or misleading information through our forms.
- Use this site or our brand in any manner that violates applicable law.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, photographs, illustrations, layout, logo — is the property of Local Mounting Co. or used with permission. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or republish substantial portions without our written consent. Linking to our pages is welcome; passing them off as your own is not.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version live on this page at the moment of your booking is the version that governs that booking. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Local Mounting Co. operates. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be heard in the courts of that jurisdiction.
